Children will hear a story or 2, including “Snow” by Uri Shulevitz, and participate in either a craft or activity related to the stories. No registration is required.
Are your little ones’ winter wiggles getting the best of you? Join us at Beginner Story Hour each Wednesday morning for stories, crafts and activities. This is a time to sing, dance, laugh, and learn through the power of reading. This week they will hear “Snowballs” by Lois Ehlert. Registration is required for 18-36 months old children, and an adult caregiver is required to stay with each child during this program.
Participants will be asked to read books from one of the nominee lists so that they are eligible to vote in April 2017 for their favorite. At this meeting, “Hi, Koo!” by Jon J. Muth and “Running out of Night” by Sharon Lovejoy will be highlighted and attendees will do a craft or activity. Registration is not required for this event.
Engineering Fun! (Event takes place at the Wakarusa Public Library) – Students will learn about aerodynamics. They will make paper airplanes and try different ways of folding and flying them. This is a program for students in grades 3-6. Registration is required at www.nappaneepubliclibrary.org
