Hula Hoop Olympics – Come compete in both individual and team events using hula hoops. Try the Rattlesnake Relay, Hula Hoop Track & Field, Musical Chairs, and Target Practice. This event is for children grades K – 5 and registration is required.
Join our Family Program event for a “Drive-In Movie” night! Participants will have the opportunity to decorate their own vehicle (a cardboard box), and relax in their car as they watch “Mickey Mouse Clubhouse: Mickey’s Sport-Y-Thon”. Snacks will be provided and the event will take place in the meeting room. This is a family friendly program, all ages are welcome to attend. Registration is required, and children must be accompanied by an adult.
On your mark, get set . . . read! This summer children will enjoy stories, songs, and activities that will get us moving. This week they will hear “Bounce” by Doreen Cronin. This is a program for registered children ages 3 – 5 years old.
Children will hear a story or 2 and participate in either a craft or activity related to the stories. No registration is required.
Zoo-to-You sponsored by the Friends of the Library – Keepers from the Potawatomi Zoo will be presenting a program at the library. Come meet 4 of the zoo’s animals and learn how they exercise and about their amazing, “Olympic” skills. This event is for children grades K – 5 and registration is required.
